Doing IT for Good
Landmark is proud to host Doing IT For Good (DITFG) our Annual Networking and Philanthropy program.

The philanthropic mission of Doing IT for Good is to foster cross-industry collaboration while encouraging Corporate Social Responsibility. DITFG brings together high-profile business and technology executives for invitation-only networking events designed to raise awareness about a local non-profit in the community.

We invite you to keep in touch with prior event attendees by joining our LinkedIn Group!

Nominated Nonprofits

2011: DoSomething.org
DoSomething.org is one of the largest organizations in the US that helps young people rock causes they care about. A driving force in creating a culture of volunteerism, DoSomething.org is on track to activate two million young people in 2011. By leveraging the web, television, mobile, and pop culture, DoSomething.org inspires, empowers and celebrates a generation of doers: teenagers who recognize the need to do something, believe in their ability to get it done, and then take action.

2010: Digital Wish
Digital Wish promotes the early adoption of technology within schools by providing a platform for teachers and educators to develop wish lists, share project plans, collaborate on best practices, and purchase technology in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, by streamlining and targeting the process of giving, Digital Wish allows large and small-scale donors to directly impact their local schools.

2009: NPower
NPower is a network of locally based nonprofit organizations that provide comprehensive, high-quality and affordable technology assistance to other nonprofit groups nationally. Founded in 1999, NPower currently serves more than 4,000 organizations each year.

2008: Year Up
Year Up offers a supportive foundation to urban young adults seeking to cross the Opportunity Divide and develop successful careers in IT. Year Up couples education and experience, following six months of classroom-based IT education with six months of apprenticeship with one of Year Up's prestigious corporate partners.

By offering educational stipends and college credit, while placing equal emphasis on gaining IT expertise and mastering the professional environment, students are able to dedicate their full time and attention as they gain the skills required to succeed in today's workplace.
